Meghan Refuses to Follow KATE’S MOMMY LEAD

Meghan wants to put her own stamp on the monarchy — and motherhood. While Kate favors traditional monikers for her kids — Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 8 months — Meghan “wants to give her baby a modern name.” And unlike Kate, who gave birth to her children in the posh Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London (where Princess Diana also delivered William and Harry), “Meghan’s looking into having a home birth,” explains an insider. “She likes the idea of being in the comfort of familiar surroundings and having the freedom to control the birthing process.” But Harry wants her to reconsider. “Even though Meghan would have the best doctors by her side, Harry’s not buying into it,” says the insider. “He thinks it’s much more practical to be in a top hospital.” One thing they can agree on? “Harry will be doing diaper changes, night duty and cleaning up vomit,” says the insider. “Meghan believes in equality, and Harry’s cool with that!”
