You couldn’t find a happier — or a betterlooking — family anywhere. Yet while Ryan Gosling calls Eva Mendes “the dream mother,” and their daughters, Esmeralda (inset), 4, and Amada, 2, “dream babies,” he has no interest in a dream wedding. Neither does his beloved. “I love the idea of a union — that’s all very beautiful,” says Eva, 44. “But I think, you know, it’s a very oldfashioned, archaic kind of thing. We did it for land originally. How unromantic is that?” Devoted for the past seven years to the 38-year-old hunk, whom she met on the set of 2012’s The Place Beyond the Pines, Eva plans to stay that way well into the future. “I actually think it’s really sexy to be with someone in your 50s and 60s and be like, ‘That’s my boyfriend,’” she says. “I think husband and wife is just… very unsexy.”
