You can’t blame Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman for being a bit marriage-shy. Lauren was, after all, wed to the music mogul’s good friend when they began an affair — and was still married when she became pregnant with his child in 2013. Against all odds, though, their love has lasted, with the former womanizer now a happy, hands-on dad to their son, Eric, 4. Lack of papers aside, Simon has said that being in a stable relationship with Lauren, 41, has made his life a lot more fulfilling. “Eric is absolutely incredible and so funny,” raves Simon, 59, adding that being a father “is the best thing that ever happened to me.”
