Katie Holmes whisks Jamie Foxx off to Florida in an effort to reignite their floundering romance.

Smiling from ear to ear, Katie Holmes wrapped her arms around Jamie Foxx and planted a big kiss on his mouth. The actress isn’t known for PDA. But while the pair vacationed aboard a mega-yacht in the waters off Miami in late December, she didn’t hold back.

After all, this was her chance for redemption. As Life & Style previously reported, Jamie pumped the brakes on their relationship — over the phone — ahead of Katie’s 40th birthday on Dec. 18, citing the star’s unwillingness to go public with their five-year romance as the reason why he didn’t see a future together. She wasn’t ready to give up on their love, though. “The weekend together in Miami was Katie’s idea,” reveals an insider. “She went above and beyond to show Jamie that she’s still in love with him, begging him to give their relationship one more shot. It was really a make- or- break vacation, and it worked.”

TEARING DOWN WALLS

Katie’s messy split from Tom Cruise, 56, in 2012 had her keeping Jamie, 51, at arm’s length. Not anymore. “Katie and Jamie’s little yacht adventure was just what the doctor ordered,” says the insider. “Jamie was impressed by Katie’s initiative and it definitely put the spark back in their relationship.”

Katie wasn’t just more open with him physically — she opened up emotionally. “They had a deep conversation about their future together,” says the insider, noting that marriage could still be in the cards for the duo. “She admitted to stringing Jamie along for too long. But this is a new beginning for them.”

LINGERING TRUST ISSUES?

As committed to Katie as Jamie is, though, the actor is also a flirt. In fact, while in Miami, he was spotted enjoying a boys’ outing at nightclub LIV — where the group was approached by girls all night. And after Katie left Miami? Jamie was spotted talking up newly single, bikini-clad influencer Olivia Culpo, 26, aboard another yacht. “His need
