Though told through different time periods, this indie drama centers on the moment when Steve (played by J. K. Simmons, Sebastian Stan and Iain Armitage) struggles to understand how and why he ended up broken and alone. As he looks back on his life, Steve tries to find a way to forgive his parents (Mandy Moore and Max Greenfield) and, more importantly, himself.
