There’s one girl who’s no longer gone from Ben Affleck’s life. He and Lindsay Shookus are giving their relationship another shot just six months after their shocking split. “They just couldn’t ignore the feelings they have for one another,” spills a source close to the former couple, who called it quits in August after the Justice League star fell off the wagon and hooked up with 22-year- old Playboy model Shauna Sexton. The 46-year-old actor has since completed a 40day stint in rehab for alcohol addiction, working all 12 steps including making amends with the Saturday Night Live producer, 38. The pair were spotted grabbing sushi in LA on Feb. 23. “What drove them apart in the first place was Ben’s drinking and his ongoing divorce from Jennifer Garner,” the source explains. “Now that Ben’s sober and single, things are less complicated. Sure, they still have to deal with living far apart but it’s a small hurdle compared to what they’ve already faced.” The two are taking things slow, though. “All their friends are rooting for them,” says the source. “Lindsay makes Ben happy and is a positive influence on him.”
