SHE’S BA-A-CK!
Still smarting over her humiliating departure from NBC in 2018, Megyn Kelly plots her return to the airwaves.
Talk about an October surprise! Megyn Kelly is more than ready to get back to work — and she’s already putting a plan in motion. The 48-year-old veteran journalist, who was fired from NBC after defending the use of blackface during a roundtable discussion on her since-canceled morning show, has set her sights on covering the upcoming 2020 presidential election. “Megyn’s staying quiet about where she’ll be going, but apparently there are two serious offers that she’s negotiating,” an industry insider tells Life & Style. “She’s eager to get back on TV in time for the presidential election, which is sure to be history-making.” The tough-talking former Fox News host made the front page after facing off with then–presidential hopeful Donald J. Trump during the Republican debates in May 2016 — and she’s hoping another controversial tangle with the commander in chief will win her back viewers and a prime-time slot on a prestigious news channel. “Megyn’s had time to mull things over,” the insider adds. “She wants the glory she had when she was at the top of her game.”
