Are COLTON UNDERWOOD and CASSIE RANDOLPH faking their feelings?

Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph claim to be an item — but is the romance just for show?

It was a Bachelor finale like no other. Just a week earlier, TV viewers watched Colton Underwood ditch his microphone and jump a fence in frustration after getting dumped, on camera, by the one woman he claimed to love. But while he seemed to have no chance at romance as Season 23 wound to a close, Cassie Randolph miraculously reappeared — and the pair, a source says, have been secretly meeting up ever since the show wrapped in November. “You just have to have faith that it’s going to work out,” says former linebacker Colton. “I don’t like to live my life with regrets.”

But he may already have some. Life & Style has learned that Cassie and Colton’s relationship still hasn’t been all roses over the past few months — and the newly public couple may be staying together just to expand their bank accounts. “Colton was in love, but Cassie was not and nothing about that has changed,” an insider reveals. “The bottom line is that they both love the spotlight more than each other. They’re definitely faking it for fame.”

LEFT WITH NO CHOICE

In some ways it isn’t surprising. While Colton, 27, was ready to propose to Cassie, 23, on the show, her discomfort with that idea was obvious. Even be- fore their split, she refused to tell him she was falling in love with him. And during their painful breakup? The model and reality TV veteran even told him, “I want you to be with someone who’s insanely in love with you.… I’m not sure if I can get there.”

Colton — who appeared on both The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise before getting tapped to be the franchise’s leading man — didn’t give up, though. Instead of placing a ring on the finger of one of his other finalists, Tayshia Adams,

28, and Hannah Godwin, 24, he dramatically chased Cassie. And she warmed to the idea of a showy reunion. “They want the paid appearances, endorsement deals and bigger social media followings,” the insider explains of the perks that come with successfully pairing up on The Bachelor. “That’s all money in the bank.”

So, for now, the duo are keeping up appearances. But, “at the end of the day, they won’t stay together,” the insider says. “Cassie will dump Colton.”
