To celebrate the big 4-0, William teamed up with The Big Issue, a U.K. magazine that helps combat homelessness — a cause that was near and dear to his mother, Princess Diana, prior to her tragic death in 1997 at age 36. In addition to selling issues on the street, the prince penned an essay for its pages to raise the profile of the initiative. “In the years ahead, I hope to bring George, Charlotte and Louis to see the fantastic organizations doing inspiring work to support those most in need,” the father of three wrote. “Just as my mother did for me.”
