JOSH CAUSES FLIGHT DELAYS
The pre-takeoff safety rules don’t apply to celebrities — right? At the start of a 2010 trip to Kentucky, Josh Duhamel reportedly laughed off multiple requests to power down his Blackberry. Since he refused to stop texting, the jet had to head back to its gate in New York. The Shotgun Wedding star, 50, was removed from the plane and later apologized.
MIKE LETS HIS FISTS FLY
One Jetblue passenger found out what it’s like to go a few rounds with Mike Tyson in 2022. Video showed the former heavyweight champ, 56, punching another man several times shortly after they boarded an aircraft in San Francisco. Why? The seemingly intoxicated fan wouldn’t leave Mike alone. No charges were filed. “I shouldn’t even be taking public planes,” the boxer later lamented.
SAVANNAH’S RUDE ’TUDE
Chrisley doesn’t know best when it comes to travel behavior .... In April, Savannah Chrisley shared video clips of Southwest Airlines employees, claiming the crew “threw her off” a jet from NYC to Tennessee. But the airline had a different take on the run-in with the reality star, 25. “She arrived at the gate late in the boarding process and repeatedly insulted our employee after being asked to gate-check her bag,” a rep said. “As a result, the Customer was denied boarding on her original flight, and we booked her on a later flight the same day.”
GIGI WANTS TO RULE THE RUNWAY
Gigi Hadid, 28, mostly flies private these days...which is likely a relief to commercial crews. “Gigi always made life hard before she even got onboard, barking orders and complaining about the food and drinks, air conditioning, blankets, even the way people looked at her,” recalls an insider. “She would be even worse when friends were traveling with her, treating flight attendants like her personal servants.”
KATE SELF-SERVES
A first-class diva? When cabin staff wouldn’t serve Kate Moss an alcoholic beverage, the supermodel, 49, allegedly fetched vodka from her own carry-on and served herself in a 2015 incident. Kate then supposedly got into a disagreement with another passenger and called the pilot a “basic bitch.” Security later escorted her off the plane that was destined for London from Turkey. While a witness claimed the star wasn’t being aggressive and the crew overreacted, Kate did go on to get sober in 2017.
NAOMI BRAWLS OVER BAGGAGE
Don’t mess with her luggage! In 2008, Naomi Campbell flew into a rage at Heathrow Airport in London when she was told one of her checked-in bags was not loaded on her La-bound plane. The supermodel, 52, continued to lash out once authorities arrived — and she was ultimately arrested for assaulting police officers. Following the dust-up, Naomi paid a fine and was sentenced to 200 hours of community service.
