Spooky season has arrived

-

“When witches go riding and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, ’tis near Halloween!”

Halloween is just around the corner and despite the pandemic still lurking and affecting our daily lives, the spooky day will be celebrated in the Antelope Valley and beyond. In fact, some of the usual events hosted each year, have already begun. Don’t worry, we have included a list of things happening around the Valley and in other places, too, so you won’t miss out on all the spooky fun — and there’s something for everyone.

A car show, trunk or treat event, haunted house, pumpkin walk and Howl-o-ween are just a few of this year’s offerings in Palmdale.

In addition to all the fun things happening, this month’s issue is packed with Halloween content, so it’s bound to appeal to all who enjoy the spooky holiday.

You’ll also find a couple of your favorite columns in this month’s edition. The Meals with Wheels column will teach you how to make lemon bars. Meanwhile, Cheryl Mashore from High Desert Medical Group is back, sharing information about breast cancer.

Next month, we’ll have a few surprises in that edition of Lifestyle magazine. So in the meantime, enjoy all the spooky fun around the Valley and grab a cup of cider or a pumpkin spice latte, while you’re at it. Happy hauntings, everyone.
