What are your post-graduation plans?

I plan to attend University of California, Berkeley to pursue civil engineerin­g.

What are your goals for the next 10 years?

I plan to finish college and apply skills I have learned to improve conditions in my community and third world countries.

What clubs and activities did you participat­e in during high school?

Activities included STEAM Team, Key Club, Go Green Club, NHS, CSF, tennis and badminton.

What’s your favorite memory from senior year?

My favorite memory was helping to organize the Norcal Science Festival. I met people of diverse background­s eager to promote the branches of STEAM into the community.

If you could thank anyone for contributi­ng to your education, who would it be and why?

Besides my parents (motivation­al), I would like to thank all of my teachers for their time, effort, and lessons I can apply to life.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?

Do not forget to have fun. Grades are important but it is also essential to meet friends, join extracurri­cular activities, and have a positive view on your high school experience. You make it enjoyable. You make it worth while.

I am going to attend the University of the Pacific and major in biological sciences.

What are your goals for the next 10 years?

My goals for the next 10 years are to go to college and have a successful career.

I was a part of Go Green Club, CSF, and NHS during high school.

What’s your favorite memory from senior year?

My favorite memory from senior year is simply having fun with my friends all year long.

If you could thank anyone for contributi­ng to your education, who would it be and why?

I would thank my parents for supporting me and believing in me all throughout my high school experience.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?

I would recommend incoming freshmen to work hard yet not to forget to enjoy themselves and the experience­s they will have.

4. Aldo Perez

What are your post-graduation plans?

I will be attending Chico State and earn a degree in exercise physiology, while pursuing a career in running.

What are your goals for the next 10 years?

I hope to become an exercise physiologi­st while also running profession­ally.

What clubs and activities did you participat­e in during high school?

Track and cross country, Interact Club, NHS, CSF, NorCal Science Festival.

What’s your favorite memory from senior year?

Winning Homecoming King. The entire day was so much fun as I had a lot of support from friends and family.

If you could thank anyone for contributi­ng to your education, who would it be and why?

Mrs. Dougish, whether she knows it or not. She taught me to challenge ideas and think for myself. She exposed me to literature.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?

Never stay too comfortabl­e with where you are at. There is always room for improvemen­t. Do not follow where the money is. Follow where your passions are. Wealth will eventually come by itself, so don’t chase it.

5. Alexander Trujillo-Hilleary

I am going to UCLA.

What are your goals for the next 10 years?

I plan to contribute to tech start ups and get an MBA.

Co-founder of Junior Civitan, Golf, VP of Interact, VP of NHS, tennis and golf.

What’s your favorite memory from senior year?

Tennis season.
