Alexander T. Woltkamp, of Oakdale, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017, while at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto. He was a mere 26 years young, but he lived life to the fullest and never took a moment for granted. Alex enjoyed riding his Harley and dirt bike, shooting guns, and spending time with friends and family.

Alex is survived by his loving wife, Katie Woltkamp; daughter, Bren Woltkamp; mother and stepfather, Andrea and Anthony Hayles; father and stepmother, Tim and Jennifer Woltkamp; brother, Austin Woltkamp; half-sister, Rylee Woltkamp; paternal grandparen­ts, Chuck and Sydney Woltkamp; maternal grandparen­ts, Cel and Debbie Lorenzi, and Jim and Cindy Walters.

Alex will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson, husband, daddy, brother, or friend.

Funeral arrangemen­ts are being handled by Franklin and Downs Funeral Home in Modesto. A viewing will be held Thursday, June 1st, at Franklin and Downs Funeral Home from 4-8 pm. The graveside service will be held Friday, June 2nd, at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, beginning at 9:30 am. A Celebratio­n of Life will follow from 12-4pm at the Elks Lodge in Modesto.
