RONALD JEFFREY KREIN

Ronald Jeffrey Krein, of Atwater, CA, passed away on June 1, 2017 at the age of 66.

Ron was born on September 25, 1950 in Santa Maria, CA, to parents, Melvin R. and Victoria Freda Krein. He grew up in Lodi, CA and graduated from Lodi High School. He went on to graduate from the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy. He enjoyed serving the Merced community for over 25 years as the owner and pharmacist of Valley Prescription Pharmacy.

He loved his family, his pets, classic cars, the Giants and 49ers, going out to lunch, golf, cowboy boots and music. Ron was known for his generosity, work ethic, practical jokes, barbecuing and making chili.

He is survived by his wife, Marilynn Krein; his daughters, Leigh Beglinger and Jennifer Tinney; his step-son, Ralph W Davis II; his mother, Victoria Freda Krein; brother, Steven Krein and sister-in-law Gloria Krein; sons-in-law, Mike and Jason; 6 grandchildren, Lexi, Ethan, Isabelle, Lilli, Will and Ruby; and his niece’s, Erika, Andrea, Katie and Elsie and five nephews, Chris, Nick, Michael J., Robert and Mason. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin R. Krein and his son, Michael Krein.
