• St. Anne’s Senior Monthly Luncheon: St. Anne’s Church will be holding its Senior Monthly Luncheon on Tuesday at the Lodi Moose Lodge on Woodbridge Road, offering roast beef with mashed potatoes and carrots to all senior citizens attending. Reservations are required, and must be made the Friday before the luncheon. Visitors are expected to call before bringing a guest. Reservations cost $12 per person. Temple Baptist Church
• Movie on the Lawn: At 7 p.m. Wednesday, Temple Baptist Church will host a screening of the animated film “My BFG” on its lawn at 801 S. Lower Sacramento Road. Snacks and refreshments will be sold to benefit the youth ministry scholarship fund. Guests are advised to bring lawn chairs, as well as blankets and sleeping bags, as the night is expected to be cold.

Remedy Church
• Care Lodi’s Christmas in July: This month, Remedy Church will have a Christmas tree with gift tags listing items ranging from $5 to $50 to help Care Lodi, a local ministry that serves children and families. Guests who take tags are asked to bring items and tags back to the church and place them under the tree to be picked up on July 30.
• Strings Attached CD Release Concert: Remedy Church will proudly host the band Strings Attached, who will perform a concert celebrating their first CD release, featuring classics, original compositions, and even some pop, on July 27.
This event will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Admission is $10 for pre-sale, $15 at the door, and free for children younger than 12. All proceeds will go to support Pastor Erick Sanchez and his team’s ministry to the Lenca people of Honduras.
