A Day in the Park reschedule­d

With heavy rain expected on Saturday, the Lodi District Chamber of Commerce and Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Camp Resort have decided to reschedule the All County Chamber Day in the Park.

The event, which was originally scheduled for this Saturday, will bring together games, food and dozens of local businesses and chambers for an afternoon of family fun. It has been reschedule­d for Nov. 18.

The dinner will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children; to-go meals are $15. Tickets can be purchased at the church at 1540 W. Lodi Ave. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today; a limited number of tickets may be available at the door.

Lodi Roc-Vemberfest concert honors veterans

To honor Veterans Day, the team is offering a day of music, art, beer and food from noon to 10 p.m. on Nov. 11. Twenty of the region’s leading musical acts will take two stages, including Korynn OC, K-Doh & The Doh-Nuts, Blues Mechanix, the Madness Remains and Dana DeMoulin. The event will also include an art show and silent auction.

Admission is $5 for the general public and free for all veterans and active duty military personnel. Proceeds from the concert will benefit Operation Restored Warrior.
