Mike Meserole High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Basketball College: Cal Maritime
Meserole, a senior guard, scored five points and had four rebounds and two steals in the Keelhaulers’ opener, an 84-68 win over West Coast Baptist at the Frank Dye Classic on Friday. He had 11 points and two rebounds in the second game, an 83-80 win over San Diego Christian on Saturday.
Evan Madill High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Basketball College: Cal Maritime
Madill, a sophomore guard, had eight points and an assist on Friday, then five points and a steal on Saturday.
Adam Gotelli High school: Elliot Sport: Basketball College: Azusa Pacific
Gotelli, a redshirt sophomore, had four points and a steal in preseason exhibition, a 92-49 win over Westcliff.
Wyatt Ming High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Football College: Sacramento State
Ming, a junior lineman, started at right guard in the Hornets’ 37-17 loss to Northern Arizona on Saturday.
Nate Coffman High school: Tokay Sport: Football College: Trinity Bible College
Coffman, a senior lineman, started at center in the Lions’ 49-6 loss to Olivet Nazarene on Saturday.
Joel McQueen High school: Tokay Sport: Football College: Mid-America Nazarene University
McQueen, a junior linebacker, had two tackles, one for a 7-yard loss, in MNU’s 34-27 loss to Avila. He also had one rush for no yards.
Courtney Newport High school: Lodi Sport: Golf College: Holy Names University
Newport, a senior, tied for 11th at the two-day Cal Poly Invitational in Arroyo Grande over the weekend, carding rounds of 80 and 75 on the par-72 course for a total of +11 155.
Sydney Marks High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Volleyball College: Cal Baptist
Marks, a freshman middle blocker, had three kills and five blocks in a 3-2 win over Biola, then had four kills and four blocks in a 3-0 over Point Loma to help the Lancers remain undefeated and improve to No. 3 in the NCAA Division II rankings.
Grace Celli High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Volleyball College: Delta
Celli, a freshman middle blocker, had four kills and a block in Friday’s 3-0 win over Diablo Valley.
Justine Busse High school: Galt Sport: Volleyball College: Cosumnes River
Busse, a sophomore defensive specialist, had nine digs in Friday’s 3-1 loss to Santa Rose.
Kelsey Brehm High school: Lodi Sport: Volleyball College: Cosumnes River
Brehm, a freshman outside hitter, had two kills, two aces and 10 digs in Friday’s loss.
Elizabeth Smith High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Volleyball College: Cosumnes River
Smith, a freshman middle blocker, had five kills, two digs and an ace in Friday’s loss.

Carlos, a freshman defender, recorded an assist in Delta’s 4-0 win over Sacramento City on Tuesday.
Nick Arnaiz High school: Tokay
Sport: Football College: Delta
Arnaiz, a freshman defensive back, led the Mustangs in tackles in Saturday’s 43-38 win over College of the Sequoias in Visalia, with four solo tackles and five assists for nine total, with 2 1/2 of them for a loss.
Vicente Trejo High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Football College: Delta
Trejo, a sophomore linebacker, had one tackle in Saturday’s win.
Miguel Millan High school: Tokay Sport: Football College: Delta
Millan, a sophomore, punted three times on Saturday for a 41.7-yard average.
Peter Disch High school: Lodi Sport: Football College: Delta
Disch, a sophomore kicker, hit a 23-yard field goal in Saturday’s win, and was 4-for-5 on extra-point attempts.
Johnny Smith High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Football College: Sacramento City
Smith, a freshman defensive lineman, had one tackle in Saturday’s 47-13 loss to Siskiyous.
Tyler Sefried High school: Lodi Sport: Football College: American River
Sefried, a sophomore defensive lineman, recorded two tackles in Saturday’s 59-8 victory over Feather River.
Damani Lowe High school: Tokay Sport: Football College: American River
Lowe, a freshman defensive lineman, had four tackles, including half a sack for a five-yard loss.
