Century Assembly

The Women’s Ministries will hold its 33rd annual Holiday Bazaar at Century Assembly on Nov. 11, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will feature local vendors showcasing homemade decorations, wreaths, art, sewn creations, ornaments, crafts, food and more.

Emanuel Lutheran Church

To celebrate the church’s German heritage, an authentic German dinner will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, with tickets costing $15 for adults, $7 for children and $15 for to-go meals.

An All Saints Day celebration will be held on Sunday with special worship services at 8:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. to honor those who have passed away in the previous year.

The church will also begin teaching about the Solas of the Reformation, five Latin phrases that summarize the Lutheran Reformers’ beliefs about the essentials of Christianity, during their Sunday worship services.

United Congregational Christian Church

The Valley Community Orchestra will hold a free concert in the church’s sanctuary at 7 p.m. on Sunday, and the coat drive continues until Monday. Donations of clean coats will be delivered to the Salvation Army.
