Kelsey Connolly High school: Lodi Sport: Softball College: Thomas University
Connolly, a senior catcher, went 6for-11 in the last week, with two home runs and a pair of doubles. In a doubleheader against Keiser on Saturday, she had the game-winning hit in the first game, then had a grand slam and a three-run home run in the second game for a total of 10 RBIs during the week.
Brad Reeves High school: Lodi Sport: Golf College: Arizona
Reeves, a sophomore, was tied for 28th as the Wildcats entered the final day of the Ducks Invitational at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore. on Tuesday, with a 6-over 148 over the first two rounds.
Aaron Sackschewsky High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Archery College: James Madison
Sackschewsky took first with a comefrom-behind, 1-point victory in the Region Collegiate Indoor men’s bowhunter competition, and finished seventh in the U.S. National Indoor Collegiate Championship men’s bowhunter division.
Kat Tudor High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Basketball College: Oregon State
Tudor, a sophomore point guard, racked up 16 points and four rebounds in the Beavers’ 72-67 win over Baylor in the Sweet 16 on Friday, then had seven points and two rebounds in a 76-43 loss in the Elite Eight to Louisville on Sunday.
Jessica Hartwell High school: Liberty Ranch Sport: Softball College: Texas Tech
Hartwell, a junior infielder, went 2-for3 and scored the Red Raiders’ lone run in a 19-1 loss to No. 3 Oklahoma on Sunday.
Bradi Kooyman High school: Elliot Sport: Softball College: Pacific
Kooyman, a sophomore infielder, had a pair of multi-hit games during the Matador Classic at Cal State Northridge, going 2-for-4 in an 8-5 loss to CSUN, and 2-for-3 with a run in a 63 loss to Cal Poly.
Ali Smith High school: Sport: College:
Smith, a sophomore outfielder, had a single and a run in a 4-2 win over Tabor College on Saturday, then had a single later the same day in a 5-4 loss.
Britany Heinle High school: Tokay Sport: Softball College: Vanguard
Heinle, a senior outfielder, had a single, a walk and two RBIs in a 14-0 win over Benedictine on Friday, then went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs in an 11-0 win over Arizona Christian.
Abbie Lewis High school: Lodi Sport: Softball College: William Jessup
Lewis, a freshman outfielder, contributed in three double-headers in the past week, starting with a single and a stolen base followed by a 2-for-5 game with two runs and three stolen bases in 8-4 and 7-1 losses to Vanguard. She had a run in a 5-0 win over La Sierra, then a single, a run and two stolen bases in a win later in the day, and on Saturday she went 3-for-5 with an RBI, a run and a stolen base in a win over Hope International, then went 4-for-5 with a triple, two RBIs, two runs and a stolen base in a loss later in the day.
Lauren Garoutte High school: Tokay Sport: Softball College: William Jessup
Garoutte, a junior outfielder, had a single and a run in the second game against Vanguard, had a single in the second game against La Sierra, and had a single and a run in the first game against Hope International.
Alex Dentoni High school: Tokay Sport: Baseball College: Sacramento State
Dentoni, a redshirt sophomore right-hander, earned the victory with three scoreless innings in Friday’s 21 win over Utah, allowing three hits and a walk with one strikeouts.
Matt Richardson High school: Tokay Sport: Baseball College: Hawaii
Richardson, a senior right-hander, went four innings in a 5-1 loss to Seton Hall, allowing one un-earned run on two hits, with four strikeouts.
Alex Patterson High school: St. Mary’s Sport: Baseball College: UC Santa Barbara
Patterson, a redshirt junior righthander, pitched two scoreless innings in Friday’s 9-2 win over San Jose State, with two hits, one walk and two strikeouts.
Mason Blansett High school: Lodi Sport: Baseball College: Whittier
Blansett, a junior infielder, had a run in Sunday’s 9-8 win over Williams, then had a single and a run in a 6-4 loss to Middlebury on Monday.
Bryce Graddy High school: Tokay Sport: Baseball College: Cal Poly-Pomona
Graddy, a senior infielder, had a single, a walk and a run in an 8-2 win over San Francisco State, then had a 2-for-5 day with two RBIs in a 5-2 win over SFSU.
Brett Young High school: Lodi Sport: Baseball College: Nebraska-Kearney
Young, a junior outfielder, went 3for-4 with a home run and three runs in a 16-2 win over Lindenwood on Friday, then went 0-2 in an 8-5 loss to Lindenwood on Saturday. In that game, Young left after colliding with shortstop Peter Carlson going for a short fly.
Nick Dentoni High school: Tokay Sport: Baseball College: Delta
Dentoni pitched two innings of an 11-3 win over Modesto, allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit, with three strikeouts.
Brennon Berninger High school: Tokay Sport: Baseball College: Cosumnes River
Berninger, a freshman right-hander, pitched 1 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on two walks in a 14-4 loss to Sacramento City.
Daniel Vitoria High school: Galt Sport: Baseball College: Cosumnes River
Vitoria, a sophomore right-hander, pitched 4 innings in a 5-4 loss to Sac City, allowing three runs (one earned) on six hits, with six strikeouts.
Sam Martinez High school: Galt Sport: Softball College: Delta
Martinez, a freshman pitcher and infielder, went 3 innings with one run on three hits in an 8-7 win over Santa Rose. At the plate, she walked and scored a run in the game, then scored a run in a 9-0 win over Folsom Lake.
Taelor Ford High school: Tokay Sport: Softball College: Cosumnes River
Ford, a sophomore catcher, went 2for-3 with an RBI in a 7-0 win over Santa Rosa, then had a single and an RBI in a 4-3 win the next day. On Monday, she had a run in a 7-1 win over American River.
Korina Krueg High school: Tokay Sport: Softball College: Cosumnes River
Krueg, a sophomore shortstop, had a single and an RBI in each of the wins over Santa Rosa, then had two runs against American River.
Veronica Smith High school: Tokay Sport: Softball College: Cosumnes River
Smith, a sophomore infielder, had a single in the first Santa Rosa game, then a single and three RBIs in the second. Against America River, she had a double, an RBI and a run.
