Lodi Republican Women to host monthly meeting
LODI — The Lodi Republican Women’s monthly meeting and luncheon will take place Sept. 19 at the Woodbridge Golf and Country Club, 800 E. Woodbridge Road, beginning with a meet and greet at 11 a.m. followed by the lunch and meeting at 11:30 a.m. The cost of the lunch is $25.
Guest speaker and California Federation of Republican Women advocate Allison Olson will give an analysis and pros and cons of each of the 11 ballot measures for the November general election.

Lodi High School to host Financial Aid Night
LODI — Lodi High School will host Financial Aid Night for seniors and their parents at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 20 in the cafeteria and library, 3 S. Pacific Ave., Lodi, featuring presentations on FAFSA, the California Dream Act as well as Cal Grant and federal grant programs.

Two presentations at Lockeford MAC
LOCKEFORD — The Lockeford Municipal Advisory Council meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. Sept. 20 will feature a presentation on internet fraud and social media by Deputy District Attorney Robert Martinelli of San
Joaquin County.
The meeting will also feature a presentation on San Joaquin Regional Transit District’s new “RTD VanGo!” ride share service by RTD CEO Donna DeMartino and Toan Tran, director of mobility and contract services.
The meeting will be held at the Lockeford Community Center, 19258 N. Jack Tone Road, Lockeford.
