Galt man arrested after loaded shotgun found hidden in vehicle
GALT — At approximately 7 a.m. Monday, an officer from the Galt Police Department made contact with 38-year-old Jerrett Baffa of Galt, near South Lincoln Way and F Street. Baffa had an outstanding felony warrant, according to a post on the department’s Facebook page.
The officer detained Baffa and placed him in the back seat of a patrol vehicle, where police said Baffa then kicked the rear window out of the patrol vehicle.
Officers found a loaded shotgun concealed in Baffa’s vehicle, and arrested him on suspicion of the felony warrant, felony vandalism, weapons violations and obstructing an officer.
