Mary was born in Stockton, CA to Manuel & Jennie Moran. She married Darrell O’Sullivan in 1969 and began married life in Fresno. Even though she suffered from Parkinson’s Disease for over 30 years, she was a strong, loving, woman who raised 3 beautiful daughters and worked hard to support and guide them into adulthood. She retired from San Joaquin Co. after 13 yrs. She was a member of Lodi Community Art Center, the Lodi Parkinson’s Support Group, Elk Grove Artists and Lodi Rock Steady Boxing (Parkinson’s Therapy). She loved family gatherings, mysteries, and especially young children and arts & crafts. She is survived by her husband Darrell and 3 children – Cecilia (Neil Matz) O’Sullivan, Tracie (Jacob) Thornburg and Mary Elizabeth (Tadd) Heinz and 5 grandchild­ren – Ethan, Sydney & Riley Matz and Aiden & Addison Thornburg. She is also survived by 3 sisters – Cecilia (Albert Taylor) Moran, Nellie (James) Welsh, Jeanette (Gary) Ratliff and 3 brothers – Manuel (Helen) Moran, Albert (Germaine) Moran and Robert (Tina) Moran. She is pre-deceased by her parents Manuel and Jennie Moran, her sister Carmen Sato, Earl Sato (brother-inlaw) and Paul & Gabriel Sato (nephews).

Visitation is Jan. 6, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Vineyard Chapel, Lodi, CA. Memorial Services are at 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 7, also at Cherokee Memorial Vineyard Chapel, followed by burial at Cherokee Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send contributi­ons to Lodi Rock Steady Boxing, Lodi Community Art Center or Parkinson’s Associatio­n of Northern CA.
