Between the hours of 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday, the Lodi Police Department received 143 calls for service. Below is a sampling of those calls.
Tuesday
Suspicious: 6:19 a.m. — The reporting party, an elderly woman, said she heard noises outside of her residence on the 300 block of West Locust Street. She believed someone was trying to gain access to her residence through the front and back doors, and had called the night before reporting a similar incident.
Disturbance: 7:25 a.m. — Three males were seen throwing items at a gray SUV in the parking lot of a shopping center on the 500 block of Pioneer Drive near North Cherokee Lane. The vehicle was driving recklessly and appeared to be trying to run over the males.
Municipal Code Violation: 8:14 a.m. — A transient used the front door area of the reporting party’s home on the 500 block of Railroad Avenue as a restroom.
Disturbance: 9:55 a.m. — A white male adult was seen kicking a garage door and yelling in an alley on the 200 block of South Main Street.
Suspicious: 10:02 a.m. — A white male adult with dirty blond hair, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, was seen carrying a metal rod and hitting himself in the head on the 0 block of South Main Street. The subject was also seen hitting walls in the area and threatening passersby.
Disturbance: 5:47 p.m. — Two males were seen in a physical altercation on the 600 block of Carlo Way. One subject was seen bleeding from the head.
