Be­tween the hours of 6 a.m. Tues­day and 6 a.m. Wed­nes­day, the Lodi Po­lice De­part­ment re­ceived 143 calls for ser­vice. Below is a sam­pling of those calls.


Sus­pi­cious: 6:19 a.m. — The re­port­ing party, an elderly wo­man, said she heard noises out­side of her res­i­dence on the 300 block of West Lo­cust Street. She be­lieved some­one was try­ing to gain ac­cess to her res­i­dence through the front and back doors, and had called the night be­fore re­port­ing a sim­i­lar in­ci­dent.

Dis­tur­bance: 7:25 a.m. — Three males were seen throw­ing items at a gray SUV in the park­ing lot of a shop­ping cen­ter on the 500 block of Pioneer Drive near North Chero­kee Lane. The ve­hi­cle was driv­ing reck­lessly and ap­peared to be try­ing to run over the males.

Mu­nic­i­pal Code Vi­o­la­tion: 8:14 a.m. — A tran­sient used the front door area of the re­port­ing party’s home on the 500 block of Rail­road Av­enue as a re­stroom.

Dis­tur­bance: 9:55 a.m. — A white male adult was seen kick­ing a garage door and yelling in an al­ley on the 200 block of South Main Street.

Sus­pi­cious: 10:02 a.m. — A white male adult with dirty blond hair, ap­prox­i­mately 5 feet 6 inches tall, was seen car­ry­ing a metal rod and hit­ting him­self in the head on the 0 block of South Main Street. The sub­ject was also seen hit­ting walls in the area and threat­en­ing passersby.

Dis­tur­bance: 5:47 p.m. — Two males were seen in a phys­i­cal al­ter­ca­tion on the 600 block of Carlo Way. One sub­ject was seen bleed­ing from the head.
