Motorcyclist suffers major injuries in Lodi traffic crash

LODI — A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with “significant injuries” after a collision with a car at the intersection of Park Street and South School Street at approximately 10:45 a.m. Friday, according to Lodi Fire Battalion Chief Tim Ortegel.

The motorcyclist was described as a male in his mid-20s, Ortegel said, and a firefighter accompanied the motorcyclist to assist in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
