Take care of our parks

-

Editor: Where is everyone’s sense of morality and decency? What is the point of defacing structures in one’s own country. There are people from America that serve in the Peace Corps and go overseas to help other nations ad that is a noble thing to do.

And here the locals are expressing their anger by vandalizing their own parks.

I say, if you cannot be constructive, at lease don’t be destructive. America is blessed to have so many beautiful parks across the country and people need to be grateful and thankful for that. I am sure people can find other things to do if they are not able to go to the parks right now.

The political rodeo

Editor: I have been following the political rodeo for awhile, finding it only mildly entertaining. I remembered a quote from a politician back in the early 1950s. I’m pretty sure I have it correct and I believe it pretty much sums up what is going on in Washington.

Quote: “A people that value privilege above principles soon loses both.” MIKE ZANE Lodi

Make it stop

Editor: When is this going to stop? Nobody has more on their plate than our great president. Now he has the problem of all the foreigners coming up.

Before President Trump came into office our country was going downhill (Obama). Can you imagine if Hillary had won?

Democrats want to give everything away. Who pays? You and I.

Then you’ve got people that want to do away with Thanksgiving. What is going on? Do any of these people work? And then the Democrats were complaining about the beautiful Christmas trees at the White House.

I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it again: This has to stop. JEFF LODI Lodi
