The Lodi Public Works depart­ment gave a pre­sen­ta­tion re­quest­ing the city up­date its ex­ist­ing flood pro­tec­tion plan to meet the re­quire­ments of a state­man­dated 200-year flood pro­tec­tion plan dur­ing a Lodi City Coun­cil shirt­sleeve meet­ing on Tues­day morn­ing. They will vote on in­stalling $150,000 flood bar­rier on Mills Av­enue and Turner Road dur­ing a fu­ture coun­cil meet­ing. This in­for­ma­tion was in­cor­rect on the front page of Wed­nes­day’s News-Sentinel.


The Stockton As­tro­nom­i­cal So­ci­ety and Oak Grove Re­gional Park will host Astron­omy in the Park start­ing at 6 p.m. Satur­day at the park. The start time was in­cor­rect on the Lo­cal Di­ver­sions cal­en­dar in to­day’s Show­time sec­tion.
