Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey shows up to train­ing camp in an ar­mored bank truck

Jalen Ramsey wants a new con­tract and found a unique way to drive home his mes­sage.

Ramsey, seek­ing a big pay­day from the Jack­sonville Jaguars, showed up to train­ing camp Wed­nes­day in an ar­mored bank truck.

The two-time Pro Bowl cor­ner­back is en­ter­ing the fi­nal year of his $23.3 mil­lion rookie con­tract. The Jaguars told Ramsey’s agent af­ter June’s manda­tory mini­camp that the team would not give the Florida State prod­uct a new deal this sea­son. Jack­sonville picked up his fifth-year op­tion, mean­ing with­out a new deal Ramsey will make $13.7 mil­lion in 2020. The team can then fran­chise tag him in 2021.

Ngak­oue, who will make $2.02 mil­lion this sea­son, was a train­ing camp no-show.
