Stockton Heat opening night to benefit Lodi House Thrift Store
STOCKTON—At the Oct. 12 Stockton Heat opening night game, $7 from all ticket sales will benefit the Lodi House Thrift Store.
The thrift store is an important source of income for Lodi House, bringing in $30,000 a year that goes directly to support homeless women and children sheltered and cared for at Lodi House.
Lodi House first opened its door to clients in September 2000, and The Lodi House Thrift Store first opened its original location on Lodi Avenue and Central in March of 2010 before moving to its current location at 221 West Lodi Ave. in Jan. of 2014.
The game will begin at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Stockton Arena, 248 W. Fremont St., Stockton.
