Stock­ton Heat open­ing night to ben­e­fit Lodi House Thrift Store

STOCK­TON—At the Oct. 12 Stock­ton Heat open­ing night game, $7 from all ticket sales will ben­e­fit the Lodi House Thrift Store.

The thrift store is an im­por­tant source of in­come for Lodi House, bring­ing in $30,000 a year that goes di­rectly to sup­port home­less women and chil­dren shel­tered and cared for at Lodi House.

Lodi House first opened its door to clients in Septem­ber 2000, and The Lodi House Thrift Store first opened its orig­i­nal lo­ca­tion on Lodi Av­enue and Cen­tral in March of 2010 be­fore mov­ing to its cur­rent lo­ca­tion at 221 West Lodi Ave. in Jan. of 2014.

The game will be­gin at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Stock­ton Arena, 248 W. Fre­mont St., Stock­ton.
