Be­tween the hours of 6:01 a.m. Tues­day and 6 a.m. Wed­nes­day, the Lodi Po­lice Depart­ment re­ceived 144 calls for ser­vice. The fol­low­ing is a sam­pling of those calls.

Tues­day

Dis­tur­bance: 6:56 a.m. — A city em­ployee said a man took the tires off his or her bi­cy­cle in the 0 block of North School Street in an at­tempt to steal the bike, then ran be­hind the Thorn­ton House in Down­town Lodi.

Mu­nic­i­pal Code Vi­o­la­tion: 8:55 a.m. — An em­ployee of a business in the 800 block of South Sacra­mento Street said a fe­male tran­sient defe­cated on their work ve­hi­cle.

Bur­glary: 11:11 a.m. — Some­one cut the locks to a gate at a business in the 300 block of North Cluff Av­enue.

Sus­pi­cious cir­cum­stance: 2:31 p.m. — A naked woman was seen walk­ing east­bound on the north­side of Turner Road near North Mills Av­enue. Bur­glary: 4:39 p.m. — A res­i­dent in the 400 block of East Lo­cust Street re­turned home to find his or her win­dow screen on the ground and his or her win­dow open. Money was taken from the res­i­dence.

Weapons: 5:04 p.m. — Two men in a gray Acura threw gang signs at two men stand­ing at South Chero­kee Lane and East Vine Street. One of the men was hold­ing a pis­tol, the other was hold­ing a ri­fle.

Sus­pi­cious cir­cum­stance: 8:22 p.m. — A res­i­dent in the 300 block of Stanis­laus Street said some­one called him and said there was an ex­plo­sive at­tached to his front door.

Sus­pi­cious cir­cum­stance: 8:48 p.m. — A res­i­dent in the 1300 block of South Mills Av­enue heard a loud ex­plo­sion, pos­si­bly a gun shot.

Wed­nes­day

Sus­pi­cious cir­cum­stance: 1:50 a.m. — A woman in a white jacket was walk­ing west­bound in the 1400 block of East Vic­tor Road, set­ting small fires and yelling.
