Be­tween the hours of 6:01 a.m. Satur­day and 6 a.m. Tues­day, the Lodi Po­lice Depart­ment re­ceived 357 calls for ser­vice the fol­low­ing is a sam­pling of those calls.


Sus­pi­cious cir­cum­stance: 8:34 a.m. — A man said a group of 20 peo­ple were strip­ping his ve­hi­cle be­hind the Burger King at the cor­ner of North Cherokee Lane and East Vic­tor Road.

Petty theft: 10:29 a.m. — A man said he has video of peo­ple steal­ing city road bar­ri­ers from the area of East Lock­e­ford Street and North Cherokee Lane.

Ve­hi­cle theft: 11:26 a.m. — A 2014 gray four­door Nis­san Al­tima was stolen in the 300 block of Lambert Court.

As­sault: 4:55 p.m. — A male tran­sient as­saulted an­other man in an al­ley in the 0 block of North School Street, pos­si­bly with a stick.

Sus­pi­cious cir­cum­stance: 8:34 p.m. — A res­i­dent in the 500 block of Al­mond Drive heard 10 to 15 rapid gun­shots in the area.


Sus­pi­cious cir­cum­stance: 2:10 a.m. — A res­i­dent in the 300 block of Pleas­ant Av­enue said some­one flew a drone onto her front porch just be­fore mid­night.

Ar­son: 7:31 a.m. — A pal­let was set on fire be­hind a build­ing in the 1300 block of South Lower Sacramento Road, caus­ing $1,000 in dam­age. An em­ployee was able to put the fire out.

Mis­cel­la­neous ser­vices: 11:32 a.m. — A city em­ployee said an im­promptu mus­cle car show with as many as 400 ve­hi­cles was be­ing held in the 1100 block of West Turner Road, on a prop­erty that was leased out for the day, but not to a car show.

An­i­mal: 4:38 p.m. — A res­i­dent in the 400 block of Yokuts Drive said a neigh­bor’s pit bull at­tacked his wife, daugh­ter and dog on a walk.


In­de­cent ex­po­sure: 1:26 p.m. — A fe­male tran­sient was pan­han­dling in the 2400 block of 2400 West Ket­tle­man Lane and moon­ing peo­ple.

Petty theft: 2:59 p.m. — A tran­sient stole a bi­cy­cle from the Costco and then be­gan strip­ping the bike east of the High­way 99 over­pass on Har­ney Lane.

Ve­hi­cle theft: 4:04 — A 1993 Gold Honda Ac­cord was stolen in the 900 block of East Lodi Av­enue.
