Between the hours of 6:01 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Thursday, the Lodi Police Department received 289 calls for service. The following is a sampling of those calls.

Tuesday

Suspicious circumstan­ce: 6:32 a.m. — Two men were seen trying to pick a door lock on the south end of the Downtown parking garage near the World of Wonders Science Museum.

Vandalism: 11:57 a.m. — A man cut open a gate to enter a property in the 900 block ok South Garfield Street, stole four bicycles and vandalized a vending machine and fire extinguish­er.

Disturbanc­e: 3:35 p.m. — A boy was attempting to use a metal object to break out the rear window of a white

Dodge Ram pickup truck in the 1900 block of Colombard Circle.

Petty theft: 4:30 p.m. — A man in a tan long-sleeved shirt and light blue jeans threatened to fight an employee at a restaurant in the 700 block of East Kettleman Lane when she asked him to pay for his meal and he refused.

Wednesday

Suspicious circumstan­ce: 3:29 a.m. — A resident in the 1500 block of Lakeshore Drive heard three gunshots in the area.

Burglary: 7:45 a.m. — A home in the 1100 block of West Lockeford Street was burgled.

Burglary: 2:05 p.m. — Two bicycles were taken from a residence in the 900 block of Cherokee Lane.

Animal call: 4:35 p.m. — The victim of a dog bite being treated at Lodi Urgent Care said a neighbor sent the animal after him for skateboard­ing through an apartment complex in the 900 block of Rutledge Drive.

Suspicious circumstan­ce: 10:26 p.m. — A person wearing a head lamp was going through trash cans and walking up to houses in the 2200 block of West Elm Street.

Thursday

Collision: 5:05 a.m. — A vehicle struck a pole in the 5100 block of East Kettleman Lane.
