Diana Lynn Janson passed away peacefully Valentine’s morning in Lodi, California on February 14th, 2021 at 76 years of age.

She was born Diana Lynn Robinson on December 21, 1944, to Richard Eugene Robinson and Norma Jeannette Robinson. She married “Skip” Walter Sven Janson on January 4, 1964.

Diana is survived by her husband of 57 years, her two daughters, “Shelly“Michelle Aliamus Yount and “Cindy” Cynthia Janson Nessel, and four grandchild­ren, Justin, David, Luke and Troy.

Diana is also survived by two brothers, Daniel and Michael and their loving families. Proceeded in death is her brother Richard and his family, as well as seven nieces, nephews and their families.

We are filled with joy knowing Diana was reunited with her first born daughter, Sandra Kristine who passed away early in life at 16 months old.

Diana grew up in the Bay Area and attended Carlmont High School in Belmont, California. After graduation, Diana attended Dental School to be a dental assistant. After living all over the bay, Diana and Skip settled in Lodi in 1979 where she was a medical assistant for local doctor’s in town.

Diana was a devoted wife, mother, grandmothe­r, daughter, sister and aunt. She volunteere­d for Meals on Wheels, attended Community Bible Study and was always sharing her baked goods with family, friends, neighbors and the many doctors, nurses and assistants that cared for her and Skip over the years. The family wishes to thank her beloved friends and all who cared for her throughout her life.

Due to the current pandemic there will be a celebratio­n of Diana’s life at a future date.
