San Joaquin County supes seek volunteers for boards, commissions
STOCKTON — The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors is seeking volunteers to serve on the following boards and commissions. The deadline to submit applications is Sept. 17.
Supervisors will consider qualified applications at the Oct. 12 meeting. Those appointed will be required to attend training. Dates and registration information will be provided by the Clerk of the Board upon appointment.
• Agricutlural Advisory Board — One ag financing institution representative.
• Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee — Two board appointments.
• Building Board of Appeals — One licensed engineer.
• California Correctional Health Care Facility Citizen’s Advisory Committee — One Board of Supervisors nominee.
• Camanche Regional Park Advisory Board — One Board of Supervisors representative.
• Council for Quality Education and Care of Children — One community representative, one consumer representative and two public agency representatives.
• Health Commission of San Joaquin County — One SJC Health Care Services Director nominee.
• In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Council — Three “user” representatives.
• Lockeford Municipal Advisory Council — One member position.
• Lodi Community Center Advisory Board — One low-income representative.
• Morada Municipal Advisory Council — Three positions.
• Resource Conservation District — One director.
• Thornton Community Center Advisory Board — One at-large representative and one low-income representative.
• Thornton Municipal Advisory Council — Three members.
• Woodbridge Municipal Advisory Council — One member.
• Workforce Development Board — One atlarge business representative.
