Squirrel knocks out Lodi power Monday morning

LODI — The City of Lodi said 128 customers were without power for more than an hour Monday morning.

The power went out at about 8:43 a.m. and affected residents in the area bounded by Turner Road, Laurel Avenue, Ham Lane and the Mokelumne River.

Power was restored by 9:23 a.m., and the city said the cause appeared to contact with a squirrel.
