TOMOKO SASAKI

Tomoko Sasaki joined her husband in heaven on the morning of April 7th, 2022 at the age of 90. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Tomoko was born in Tokyo, Japan on November 12th, 1931 to Yoshiko and Tomoichi. In 1958 she married Hideo Sasaki and moved to his hometown of Lodi, CA. Her greatest joy was her family and friends, providing them with her amazing food, care and love. Everyone always loved her Manju, hand sewn kawaii aprons, and her laugh. She loved shigin (Japanese classical singing), helping out at the Lodi Buddhist Church, and Japanese dance.

Tomoko will be remembered by her children, Dennis (Marylou) and Dyanne (Kevin); six grandchildren, Korynn, Courtney, Jessica, Maddie, Josh (Katie), and Amy; as well as two great grandchildren, Ryder and Havi.

Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bristol Hospice, 2800 March Lane, Suite 110, Stockton, CA 95219 or the Buddhist Church of Lodi, 23 N. Stockton St., Lodi, CA 95240.
