S.J. Sheriff’s Office asks for help identifyin­g items

STOCKTON — The San Joaquin County Sheriff ’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifyin­g items found in a well in 2012.

The Sheriff ’s Office said the items may be related to homicides committed by Loren Herzog and Wesley Shermantin­e in the 1980 and 1990s. However, the items have not been linked to a particualr victim.
