S.J. Sheriff’s Office asks for help identifying items

STOCKTON — The San Joaquin County Sheriff ’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying items found in a well in 2012.

The Sheriff ’s Office said the items may be related to homicides committed by Loren Herzog and Wesley Shermantine in the 1980 and 1990s. However, the items have not been linked to a particualr victim.
