Pacific to showcase student research
STOCKTON — University of the Pacific will hold its Research Day on Saturday, highlighting innovative and insightful research projects by the university’s students and faculty.
More than 100 students will present posters on their work, ranging on topics from the history of Black Opera, to factors influencing pre-diabetes and diabetes, to microplastics in food, to a cyberbullying detection system for social media, to predictors of real estate price increases.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the William Knox Holt Memorial Library and Learning Center, 3601 Pacific Ave., Stockton. For more information, visit www.pacific.edu.
