September 5, 1951 — April 23, 2022

-

Jeffrey Allen Blood passed away on April 23, 2022 at the age of 70. Jeff was born in Suffern, New York to Sherwood and Peggy (Margaret) Blood on September 5, 1951. They moved to California in 1954 and to Lodi in 1959. Jeff formed life long friendships while attending Woods Elementary and graduating from Lodi Union High School in 1970. Jeff began driving trucks for his uncle in Hawaii and continued driving for different truck companies, including his own, until he retired completely in 2014. He retired from Watkins Motor Lines in 1990. He also “Roadied” for numerous 70’s bands and singers.

Jeff had been a member of the Moose Lodge since 1985 and loved his friends and “family” there. He also loved rock and roll music, 70’s hard rock, muscle cars, fast boats, guns, and anything to do with the water. He never thought he’d live to be 40 much less 70!

Jeff is survived by his high school sweetheart, now wife, Bunny Andrade Blood; his daughters, Michelle (Chris) Arellano, Cheri (Cory) Horner and Shannon Blood; as well as grandchildren, Serena, Adam, Shelby, Jacob, Jaxen, and Jager; and more “family” friends that can be counted.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, James Mason Blood.

A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Sunday, May 29th, 2022 at 12 noon until the party ends at the Moose Lodge, 3824 E. Woodbridge Road, Acampo.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity or to the Mooseheart organization in Jeff’s memory.
