San Joaquin Sheriff’s Office seeks to identify items found in well

STOCKTON — The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office is again asking the public for help in identifyin­g another group of items found in a well in 2012. The items are believed to be related to homicides committed by Loren Herzog and Wesley Shermantin­e in the 1980s and ’90s.

However, like the last group of items, these have not yet been linked to any particular victim.
