Lodi police investigating fire, weapons incident
Lodi police continue to investigate a weekend incident in which an Elm Street home was damaged by fire and one of the residents disappeared after an argument.
First responders were called to the 1500 block of West Elm Street at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports of a house on fire and a man threatening a woman with a shotgun, the Lodi Police Department said.
Upon arrival, both police and Lodi Fire Department crews found the home in flames, but the suspected gunman was nowhere to be found, police said.
It was determined he fled the scene prior to the arrival of both officers and firefighters, according to Lodi Police Department.
No further information was available at press time Monday.
