San Joaquin County supes seek volunteers
STOCKTON — The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors is seeking volunteers to serve on the following boards and commissions. The deadline to submit applications is June 10.
Supervisors will consider qualified applications at the July 12 meeting. Those appointed will be required to attend training. Dates and registration information will be provided by the Clerk of the Board upon appointment.
• Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee — One ag financing institution representative and one at-large production agriculture representative.
• Agricultural Technical Advisory Committee — Two board appointments.
• Assessment Appeals Board #2 — One first alternate member.
• Aviation Advisory Committee — One member.
• Behavioral Health Board — One consumer representative.
• Building Board of Appeals — One licensed engineer.
• Council for Quality Education and Care of Children — One community representative, one consumer representative, two discretionary representatives and two public agency representatives.
• Housing Appeals Board — One fourth supervisoral district representative.
• In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Council — One “other” representative and six user representatives.
• Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission — One fourth supervisoral district representative.
• Lodi Community Center Advisory Board — One low-income representative.
• Thornton Community Center Advisory Board — One at-large and three lowincome representatives.
• Thornton Municipal Advisory Council — Two members.
• Workforce Development Board — One labor organization representative.
