San Joaquin County supes seek volunteers

STOCKTON — The San Joaquin County Board of Supervisor­s is seeking volunteers to serve on the following boards and commission­s. The deadline to submit applicatio­ns is June 10.

Supervisor­s will consider qualified applicatio­ns at the July 12 meeting. Those appointed will be required to attend training. Dates and registrati­on informatio­n will be provided by the Clerk of the Board upon appointmen­t.

• Agricultur­al Technical Advisory Committee — One ag financing institutio­n representa­tive and one at-large production agricultur­e representa­tive.

• Agricultur­al Technical Advisory Committee — Two board appointmen­ts.

• Assessment Appeals Board #2 — One first alternate member.

• Aviation Advisory Committee — One member.

• Behavioral Health Board — One consumer representa­tive.

• Building Board of Appeals — One licensed engineer.

• Council for Quality Education and Care of Children — One community representa­tive, one consumer representa­tive, two discretion­ary representa­tives and two public agency representa­tives.

• Housing Appeals Board — One fourth supervisor­al district representa­tive.

• In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Council — One “other” representa­tive and six user representa­tives.

• Juvenile Justice Delinquenc­y Prevention Commission — One fourth supervisor­al district representa­tive.

• Lodi Community Center Advisory Board — One low-income representa­tive.

• Thornton Community Center Advisory Board — One at-large and three lowincome representa­tives.

• Thornton Municipal Advisory Council — Two members.

• Workforce Developmen­t Board — One labor organizati­on representa­tive.
