BARBARA ADAM JONES

Barbara was born on December 7, 1950 to Alvin and Goldie Adams at Lodi Community Hospital. She passed away on January 26, 2022, peacefully in her sleep in the presence of her son. Her cause of death was cancer. Barbara attended Lodi High School and graduated in 1969. Barbara graduated from Chapman University in 1995 with a Masters in Psychology. In 2000 she moved to Grants Pass, oregon and opened her own practice in Family Therapy which she she did until she passed away. Barbara enjoyed many years of world travel, beekeeping and lived on the Rogue River in her dream home surrounded by nature. She also rode her own Harley Davidson all over the United States. Barbara was preceded in death by her Father Alvin Adams, and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her only child, son Shawn Hale; her mother, Goldie Adams; sister, Sandra Collins-Pemberton; brother-in-law, Mike Pemberton; and her nephew, Trent Collins and his family, and many cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lockeford Seventh Day Adventist Church, 19900 North Elliot Road, Lockeford, CA 95237, on May 29th at 11:00AM.
