Jean Eloise Ferguson, our beloved wife, mother and grammie, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Jean was born on October 4, 1928 in Bakersfiel­d California to parents Lyle and Beulah Clow along with a sister , Margaret and brother, Robert.

Jean worked at Cal Poly as a Secretary where she met the love of her life, Howard Ferguson. They were married on July 5, 1952 and were married 70 years. They moved to Lodi after Howard took a teaching position at Daniel Webster middle school, and raised 3 children.

Jean was an active member of GracePoint Church, which included the choir, teaching children’s Sunday school, VBS leadership, women’s ministries, and Gideons Internatio­nal. Jean was an exceptiona­l seamstress and was involved with the church’s quilting ministry, as well as helped at the Crisis Pregnancy Resource Center.

Howard and Jean traveled extensivel­y and played golf during their retirement years. Jean loved spending time with her grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren.

Jean is predecease­d by her parents, sister, and brother.

She is survived by her husband Howard, sons Ted (Jeri) Ferguson, Dan (Melinda) Ferguson and daughter Becky (Mike) Kaminski, grandchild­ren Daniel(Kristen) Ferguson, Colleen Ferguson, Jeff Kaminski, Katie (Greg) Gresham, Ryan (Alissa) Ferguson, Scott (Kelisha) Ferguson, Emily (Evan) Jarms, and 10 great grandchild­ren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 Saturday February 18, at GracePoint Church, 801 S. Lower Sacramento Road, Lodi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made to GracePoint Church or Gideons Internatio­nal.
