ARTHUR TARLEY SUPNET

Arthur Tarley Supnet passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 79, with his children by his bedside. He was born on August 9, 1943, to Tarley and Alice Supnet in Stockton, California where he resided until settling in Lodi, California when he was married in 1966.

Arthur graduated from Edison High School in 1961 during which time he was active in baseball and football. He subsequent­ly enlisted in the U.S. Army and was honored to serve in the 15th Medical Battalion 1st Cavalry Division stationed in Korea. He later attended a local college and recieved a degree in business. This led him to establish a career with the State of California from which he retired at the age of 65.

Arthur was an avid golfer who never missed his daily, early morning round with his brother. He was a devoted husband and father who was committed to ensuring his family was well taken care of. Well known for his unassuming nature, kindness, and compassion, he led by example staying true to his strong sense of values. In his absence, he will be greatly missed leaving behind a legacy eternally remembered.

Arthur is survived by his two children, son Christophe­r (Mignon) and daughter Cori (Carey), sister Haru, brother and best friend Ted (JoAnn), nephew Kurt, niece Gay (Randy), three grandchild­ren Brandon, Cameron, and Ella, and 12 maternal cousins. He is preceeded in death by his beloved wife Joyce, his father and mother Tarley and Alice, and brother-in-law Sab.

Arthur wished to be cremated and have his ashes, in part, placed with his dearest wife at Cherokee Memorial Cemetary and most significan­tly be released into the ocean at Pebble Beach in Monterey, California. In lieu of a memorial service a private gathering for his immediate family will be held on a future date.
