Eva Lee Seibel (85) of Lodi passed away peacefully in her home on February 18, 2023. Her daughter (Angela) and granddaugh­ter (Crystal) were at her bedside when she passed. Eva is survived by her daughter Angela (Calvin) Young, son Ronald Moberly, and daughter-in-law Elisa Moberly (Raymond) all of Lodi. She had six grandchild­ren, four great grandchild­ren, and two nephews. She is also survived by her stepchildr­en Kenneth Seibel, LaVonne Sawyer, Mark Seibel, seven step-grandchild­ren and eight step-great grandchild­ren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arne Calvin Seibel, her two sons Nicholas and Raymond Moberly, parents Mack and Modist Endres, and her sister Betty Werre and her husband Walter.

Eva was born on March 17, 1937, in Clarksburg, California. She lived in Courtland, Ceres, Elk Grove, Modesto, and Oakland before settling down in Lodi/Acampo. She attended Ceres High School and transferre­d to Elk Grove High School in her senior year and lived with her sister Betty.

She married Donald Wayne Moberly in January 1955 and had four children, Angela Modist, Nicholas Wayne, Raymond Thomas, and Ronald Mack. They lived in Modesto, Oakland, and Lodi/Acampo. Eva was a very devoted mother, serving on the PTA and being classroom mother. When they moved to the Lodi/ Acampo area, she enjoyed supporting her children by helping with the 4H and FFA. The family also enjoyed camping with friends and family. Eva worked at the cherry sheds, a winery, and Pacific Coast Producers (PCP). She worked various positions at PCP for 25 years until retiring in 2002. She and Donald divorced in April 1975.

Eva met Arne at PCP, where they both worked. They lived together and were married on September 24, 1994, having spent nearly 45 years together until Arne’s passing on July 1, 2022. They loved each other dearly and had great times with family and friends. They enjoyed dancing, traveling, and going to Lake Tahoe. They loved their children, grandchild­ren, and great grandchild­ren very much. Eva will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We love you, Mom.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church, 267 N. Mills Ave, Lodi on Friday, March 3, 2023, at 10 am with a lite lunch to follow. A brief graveside prayer and comments will be at Lodi Memorial Park, 5750 E Pine St., Lodi.
