The Lodi Sister City Committee — Crab Feed and Raffle

Japenese Community Hall, 210 East Elm and Stockton streets, Lodi.

The Lodi Sister City Committee will be hosting their 16th annual Crab Feed and Raffle on Saturday, March 11 at the Japanese Community Hall, 210 E. Elm St. at Stockton Street. Doors open at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. Feast on crab, pasta, salad, French bread and lemon ice cream. Tickets are $65 and can be purchased at Graffigna Bros. Napa Auto Parts, 108 N. Animal Friends Connection — Therapy Dog Orientatio­n

A Therapy Dog Orientatio­n class will be held on March 14 at Adventist Health Lodi Memorial, in the North First Floor Meeting Room, 975 S. Fairmont Ave., Lodi. This is a program of Animal Friends Connection Humane Society. New members registrati­on will begin at 6:45 p.m.; class begins at 7 p.m. Orientatio­n is mandatory to become a member. No pets please. Lockeford Knights of Columbus — St. Patrick’s Dinner

Council 14247 will be having their St. Patrick’s Day corned beef celebratio­n on March 18. The evening will include a raffle and a 50/50 raffle. The cost is $25; $10 for children 6 to 12; or free for younger than 5, which includes a no-host bar at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church Hall, 13392 Lockeford Ranch Drive, Lockeford. Tables for 8 may be reserved and tickets purchased by calling Dave at 209-304-6109. Proceeds go to help our local community. Thank you for your continued support.

The Woman’s Club of Lodi — Bunco Bonanza

The Woman’s Club of Lodi is hosting their annual Bunco Bonanza on Saturday, March 18. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m. and Bunco at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 and must be purchased in advance of the event. To purchase tickets, please call Marilyn Van Scheneck at 916425-9935. Last day to purchase tickets is March 10. Tickets are limited so don’t wait. Tickets include lunch, dessert and cash prizes for Bunco winners. Lunch menu is chicken cordon bleu, baked potato, salad and cake. There will be a no-host bar for mimosas, raffle baskets and snacks to purchase.

Adventist Health — Support Group for Adult Children with Aging Parents

More than 6 million elderly Americans need assistance with basic needs such as getting out of bed, managing finances and more. Most of these needs are met by family members and can become quite emotionall­y taxing. Adventist Health Lodi Memorial offers a support group to address the concerns and emotions faced by caregivers related to the aging relative. Participan­ts will learn about coping, managing stress, establishi­ng limits, self-care, choosing options, long-term care, community resources, and involving others. We meet the second Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at Adult Day Care at Hutchins Street Square, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi. Call 209-369-4443 for more informatio­n.
