Tail-Waggers
Ghost
Ghost is approximately 4 years old, weighs about 65 pounds, and has been neutered. Ghost is very energetic, and enjoys running around in the yard and chasing toys. He loves chew toys and lounging in the sun. He is gentle and loves to be in the company of people, but sometimes forgets he’s too big to be a lap dog. Ghost walks very well on a leash, and knows basic commands. He seems to get along well with other easy-going dogs. Continued obedience training is recommended to help him bond with his new owners.

Dolly
Dolly is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 16 pounds. She is very sweet. When Dolly was rescued, her front legs had been badly broken at some point about a month before, and had healed badly; she had learned to walk on her back legs. Animal Friends Connection got her to a specialist who was able to surgically repair her legs, but she has metal plates that will remain in her front legs for the rest of her life. She also had some skin damage from foxtails and other thorny plants. Despite this, she is very affectionate and happy, and loves to cuddle. She likes other mellow dogs to play with; it’s unknown how she will react to cats. She is learning to walk on a leash, but will need a patient family who will go for walks at her speed, with care for her past injuries. She has been spayed and microchipped, and her vaccinations are up-to-date.
