WESLEY PAUL PEARSON

Wesley Paul Pearson was a long time resident of Galt, CA. He passed away on March 6, 2023, at age 58.

Wes was born March 1964 in San Jose to parents Jeanne and Paul Pearson. Throughout childhood he was involved in Boy Scouts. He shared many memories of visiting his dad at various worksites throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. When the Pearson family moved to the Acampo area in 1979, Wes started attending Galt High School where he was involved in the FFA program through Ag Mechanics classes and raising pigs. His mother always likes to tell stories of Wes making PB&J sandwiches and sharing them with his pigs. After graduation he then went to work in the family business, Pearsons Concrete, and for years he was unrecognizable without his company uniform - a red shirt and hat. In 1986 he started dating the love of his life, Cathy, they married in 1993 and built a house just outside of Galt where they raised their 3 kids. Though he worked 6 days a week for many years, Wes always made time to spoil his family with boating and camping trips. After retiring from the concrete business in 2008, he loved school pick-ups and drop-offs as well as volunteering for as many school activities as they would allow him. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Wes’s latest hobbies included learning about blacksmithing, visiting his wife at work, and growing more giant zucchini than anyone knew what to do with. He was kind, thoughtful, and goofy. He made the world a better place and will be greatly missed.

Wesley was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Jeanne and sister Barbara. Survived by his loving wife; Cathy, children; Jessica, Nicholas, and Daniel, brother; Norman and many close relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 22, 2023.
