ANGIE MARCELLINE FERRERO

-

Angie M. Delu Ferrero passed away peacefully in Lodi, CA, on March 17, 2023, at the age of 94. She was born in Lodi on July 22, 1928, to Alex Delu Sr (Casarello, Italy) and Amalia Casalengo (Cardona, Italy). She married John L Ferrero on February 22, 1947, and cared for him until he passed away in 2004. They were married for 57 years, and they had one daughter, Susan Ferrero.

Angie was involved in many service clubs and organizations, where she volunteered her time and shared her many talents. She was very social and loved hosting gatherings for her family and friends.

She lived for her gardening, flowers and vegetables, and was able to continue until her 90s with the help of our dear friends, Filemon, and Maria and Lupe. Angie was creative and enjoyed decorating, sewing, crafting, painting, and participating in many boutiques. She so enjoyed traveling in the states and in Europe, by land or ship.

Angie is survived by her daughter, Susan, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.

Angie was deeply loved and will be missed. I know she is now with Dad and other family members. Hopefully, she is planning the next trip and gathering.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to Lodi Memorial Foundation, 845 S. Fairmont Avenue, Suite 3, Lodi, CA 95240 or San Joaquin County Historical Society Museum, P.O. Box 30 – Lodi, CA 95241 or your favorite nonprofit organization in Angie’s honor. Services are private.
