Tokay Stitch ‘N’ Quilt Guild — 40th Anniversar­y

The Tokay Stitch ‘n’ Quilt Guild will be celebratin­g their 40th anniversar­y on May 18. The guild is a nonprofit organizati­on, with the mission to promote quilting through education and fellowship. Our guild is for everyone with an interest in stitching and quilting, encouragin­g all ages and levels of ability to join. We contribute quilts to several local community groups. We also provide scholarshi­ps to students interested in the needle arts.

We are inviting any past members in the area to join us in our celebratio­n.

We will meet on Thursday, May 18 at the First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Oak St., Lodi. Our celebratio­n will begin at 6:30 p.m.

We look forward to seeing old friends, some of whom started our wonderful guild.

Animal Friends Connection — Vineyard River Run and Jog a Dog

Times are rough and this event comes at a time when we need the community’s support, as supplies and veterinary bills continue to rise. Please come out and participat­e this year.

You are invited to our Annual Jog a Dog.

Location: Heritage Oaks Winery, 10112 E. Woodbridge Road, Acampo.

Registrati­on time is from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m.

The 5K run for people with or without dogs starts at 9:15 a.m.
